The bank's full earning rules
- 2 Membership Rewards points for every full S$1.60 spent on eligible purchases (MR T&Cs cl. 4.1(i)).
- Platinum 10Xcelerator partners in Singapore: 10 points per full S$1.60 (2 base + 8 bonus), paid directly to the partner (not via Kris+ or PayPal).
- Enrolled (2026): a further 10 points per S$1.60 at 10Xcelerator partners (25 points per full S$4) on up to S$16,000 a calendar year; ends 31 Dec 2026 unless extended.
- Enrolled: 7 points per full S$1.60 on foreign-currency spend (5 bonus as 25 points per full S$8) on up to S$15,000; bonus ends after 22 Feb 2027.
- 5 points per S$1.60 on Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights (product page only; not modelled).

- All eligible purchases; 10Xcelerator partners include Brunello Cucinelli, Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Manolo Blahnik, Fred Perry, Stone Island, Kevin Seah, Venchi, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay and Pickering, 1-Group restaurants (1-Atico, Monti, The Summerhouse, Botanico, UNA, Wildseed and others), Frette, Miele, Samsonite, Steinway, Breitling, IWC, Montblanc, Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis and TAG Heuer (list changes from time to time)
Earns nothing on
- Non-eligible purchases and transactions in Amex Singapore's list (go.amex/sgexclusions), e.g. utilities, education and charities…

2 Membership Rewards points per full S$1.60 (about 0.57 miles per S$1, at 550 points = 250 KrisFlyer miles). Points don't expire.
10 points per full S$1.60 at Platinum 10Xcelerator partners (about 2.84 mpd); counted when you search or log that shop. The extra enrolled bonus (up to 20 points on the first S$16,000 a calendar year) is not modelled.
Enrolled foreign-currency bonus (7 points per S$1.60 on up to S$15,000, until 22 Feb 2027) and 5 points per S$1.60 on Singapore Airlines and Scoot (product page only) are not modelled.
From 19 Oct 2026 new applicants get The Platinum Card as a credit card; earlier applicants hold the charge card. Fee S$1,744.
