Fees and limits
Annual feeS$196.20 incl. GST (S$180 + GST, HSBC tariff, effective 19 Oct 2026). The waiver and fee-payment points below are from the product page. Waived from year 2 if you spend over SGD 25,000 a year (no fee-payment points then). Paying the fee earns 30,000 points (up to 12,000 miles) from 1 Jan 2026.
Minimum incomeSGD 30,000 (Singaporean/PR salaried, existing customer with SGD 50k+ relationship balance); SGD 40,000–65,000 (self-employed); SGD 65,000 (others and foreigners).
Overseas feeUp to 3.25% on foreign-currency transactions: 2.25% HSBC foreign currency transaction fee plus up to 1% charged by Visa/Mastercard; 1% dynamic currency conversion fee (HSBC Bank Tariffs, effective 19 Oct 2026).
Rewards expiryPoints expire at the end of a 37-month period that starts in the month after they are earned (HSBC Rewards Programme T&Cs, clause B7, effective 31 Mar 2025).
Turning rewards into miles or cash25,000 HSBC points = 10,000 airline miles (HSBC Rewards page); HSBC waives the miles redemption fee for credit cardholders. The points needed per mile are not in the Rewards T&Cs (they say only that the amounts are shown in the HSBC app), so this rate comes from HSBC's rewards page.
