The bank's full earning rules

1.5% unlimited cashback on eligible card spend in Singapore dollars posted on or after 1 Jan 2026. No minimum spend.
1.5% cashback on eligible overseas spend in foreign currencies, up to S$1,500 of eligible overseas spend in a Relevant Month (Spend Overseas with Mari Credit Card promotion, valid till 31 Dec 2027).
1.5% Shopee Coins on Shopee spend paid with Mari Credit Card Instant Checkout and Pay In Full (promotion ends 31 Dec 2027). Instalments, manually entered card details, Apple Pay and Google Pay on Shopee count as normal card spend instead.
Cashback is calculated on the transaction amount less any interest, fees and charges, and awarded once the transaction is posted.

Fees and limits

Annual feeNo annual card fee. Late fee and overlimit fee are also free; late interest still applies.

Minimum incomeS$30,000 a year (Singaporeans/PRs aged 21 to 55); S$15,000 (over 55). Singaporeans/PRs aged 21 to 55 below the income requirement can be assessed for a card with a S$500 credit limit. Foreigners aged 21+ holding an eligible pass with at least 6 months' validity.

Overseas feeNone on foreign currency transactions posted from 1 Jan 2026 (the 1% Mastercard charge and 2% fee are not applied). A 1% currency conversion fee applies to SGD transactions processed overseas, including online and dynamic currency conversion.

Rewards expiryCashback can't be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash; it is offset against your bill.

Turning rewards into miles or cashCashback is offset against the billed amount in the upcoming statement cycle. Shopee Instant Checkout spend earns Shopee Coins instead.

Good to know

1.5% unlimited cashback on eligible SGD card spend, no minimum spend.

Foreign currency spend earns 1.5% on up to S$1,500 of spend a month under MariBank's overseas promotion (valid till 31 Dec 2027). MariBank calls this a "Relevant Month"; Cardinko treats it as a calendar month. Spend above S$1,500 is shown as earning nothing, as MariBank doesn't state a rate for it.

No foreign currency transaction fee from 1 Jan 2026. SGD transactions processed overseas (incl. online and dynamic currency conversion) still carry a 1% fee.

Paying on Shopee with Mari Credit Card Instant Checkout (Pay In Full) earns 1.5% Shopee Coins instead of cashback, till 31 Dec 2027; not modelled.
