Fees and limits
Annual feeWaived. HSBC's tariff (effective 19 Oct 2026) lists the Revolution annual fee as Nil, and the product page says the fee is waived.
Minimum incomeSGD 30,000 for Singaporean salaried employees with SGD 50,000+ in total relationship balance at HSBC; SGD 65,000 for everyone else.
Overseas feeUp to 3.25% on foreign-currency transactions: 2.25% HSBC foreign currency transaction fee plus up to 1% charged by Visa/Mastercard; 1% dynamic currency conversion fee (HSBC Bank Tariffs, effective 19 Oct 2026).
Rewards expiryPoints expire at the end of a 37-month period that starts in the month after they are earned (HSBC Rewards Programme T&Cs, clause B7, effective 31 Mar 2025).
Turning rewards into miles or cash25,000 HSBC points = 10,000 airline miles (2.5 points per mile, so 10 points per SGD 1 = 4 mpd). HSBC waives the redemption fee for miles and hotel points for credit cardholders. The points needed per mile are not in the Rewards T&Cs (they say only that the amounts are shown in the HSBC app), so this rate comes from HSBC's rewards page.
Good to know
The bonus depends on the merchant's category code (MCC). Fast food (MCC 5814), supermarkets, food delivery, public transport and cinemas are not on HSBC's list, so they earn the base rate.
